About InsightSpatial

InsightSpatial is a location intelligence company. We build the hardware, software, and mobile apps that capture where things are, and the custom GIS that turns location into decisions, for people in the field and for whole organizations.

Our current products are the Dipper Go handheld RTK receiver (in development), the Dipper Area Measure app, the Dipper Field and Dipper Layout apps (coming soon), and a planned RTK correction subscription. Dipper is the name of our handheld RTK line and the apps that work with it; future products may carry other names.

We believe precise location should be practical for everyday work, not only for professional surveyors. We design our products to work with the receivers and correction services you may already use.

For organizations in the United States, we design and build custom GIS solutions: asset management systems, data pipelines and workflow automation, decision-support models, and dashboards, on ArcGIS or open-source tools.

Where we're headed

Our longer-term interests include connected sensors for air, water, and soil, as well as outdoor robotics. Recording where and when a reading was taken can help people make sense of changes on a site.

These are development directions, rather than products available today. We are starting with positioning and practical phone apps, and will share new products as the work progresses.

Our product pages distinguish what is available now, what is in development, and what still needs testing.
