These terms apply to your use of the InsightSpatial website (www.insightspatiallabs.com). By using the website, you agree to them. Our apps have their own terms, which apply when you use them: Dipper Area Measure and Dipper Field.
1. Who we are
The website is run by Insight Spatial LLC ("InsightSpatial," "we," "us"). Dipper is the name of our handheld RTK receivers and companion apps.
2. Products in development
Some products on this website, including Dipper Go, are in development. Their design, features, specifications, availability, and price may change before release, and some may never be released. Images labeled "Concept render" are illustrations, not photos of a finished product.
Dipper Go has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. It is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell Dipper Go. Signing up for launch updates is not an order, reservation, or pre-order, and does not give you any right to buy a product.
3. Guides, tools, and information
Our guides, free tools, and product information are for general information. They are not professional surveying, engineering, or legal advice.
Our free tools (converters and calculators) give estimates for planning. Check material quantities with your supplier and coordinates or measurements that matter with a licensed professional.
Positions and measurements from phones, receivers, and apps are estimates. Accuracy depends on your equipment, correction service, internet connection, sky view, and how you work. Do not rely on our products or guides to establish property lines, prepare legal descriptions, or settle boundary disputes. Use a licensed land surveyor for that.
4. Using the website
You may use the website for lawful purposes. Do not try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the website, use automated tools to overload it, or use it to send spam.
5. Our content and trademarks
The text, images, renders, and design of this website belong to InsightSpatial or its licensors. You may view and share links to our pages and quote short passages with attribution. Do not copy or republish substantial parts of the website without our permission. InsightSpatial, Dipper, and our product names and logos are our trademarks. App Store is a trademark of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
6. Links to other websites
We link to websites we do not control, such as app stores and correction service providers. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimer
The website is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the website or its content, including that it is accurate, complete, or always available.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InsightSpatial is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website will not exceed USD 25. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above when we do. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply.
